FinLit4Kids is a programme that aims to teach financial literacy to our children and youth in the jamat. Created by The Aga Khan Economic Planning Board (AKEPB), in collaboration with City Pay it Forward, a UK charity, the FinLit4Kids programme is designed to raise awareness about the importance of finance and make learning about money fun. Our vision is to inspire a generation of financially savvy, secure and resilient murids.

The FinLit4Kids programme, in partnership with ITREB, will be delivered in Baitul Ilms across the UK by trained facilitators. The curriculum will be delivered across two 45 minute-sessions for classes primary 1 to 5, and has been created by educators and experts in their field.

Topics include budgeting, savings and understanding needs vs wants. The programme will be delivered through fun interactive learning styles, such as games, puzzles and real life role playing.

The soft-launch is in the Summer Term of 2024 on the weekends of 15th and 29th June 2024. The following Baitul Ilms will be participating:
• North London
• Leicester

In order to successfully deliver this programme, we need your help.

Please sign up as facilitators and spread the word among family and friends. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on the development of our youth. We strongly encourage multi-faith family members to apply.
